Project: Walk Cycle


 The walk cycle was a fun project. I enjoyed being able to create a loop and be able to fine-tune a stylistic walk that made it feel smooth. To add to the effect, I wanted to include a parallax, from a background I designed in photoshop, and play a little bit with the shades of black to give it the misty look that you get when a place is far away. My next move would have been to work on the river and get some action going in there as well.

Project: Puppet Test

 The puppet test for me was the easiest one of all. During my time working with stop motion, this principle is what we used for our final project. I wanted to put in a little bit of "me" in this and wanted to make it look appealing by adding colors and tiny details like the neon flicker and his foot-stamping to the beat. I added 25% on all of the ease in and outs to make the head bob a little bit more smoothly to the music he is listening to.

  In this project, I've started doing outside research so that I could look for poses and incorporate them into my drawing. Also, I drew these with the possibility of animating them in mind. This was a very odd way for me to think of a character.
